Roles & access
Understand why you see the pages you do, and how access is decided in Paradym Next.
Paradym Next shows each person only the parts of the product that are relevant to them. Two people in the same workspace can see quite different sidebars. This section explains why, and what to do if you need access to something you cannot see.
Pages in this section
| Page | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Understanding roles | What an access role is, the built-in roles, and the other things that decide what you see. |
| What each role can access | Which permission areas unlock which pages, and what Read, Write and Manage mean in practice. |
In short
- Every member has one access role, set by an administrator on the Members page.
- The role’s permissions decide which sections appear in your sidebar and whether you can change things or only look.
- Your organisation decides which sections the workspace uses at all.
- A few pages also depend on what you are doing — for example, being assigned a task.
