Delivery · Work streams
References
See the requirements a work stream was asked to deliver and every document and link it references.
The References tab holds what a work stream was given: the requirements it has to deliver, and the documents and links that explain them. It keeps the context from planning close to the delivery work, so the team can check what was asked for without leaving the work stream.
Nothing on this tab is edited here. Requirements are maintained in planning, and each document or link lives where it was created.
Before you start
Open a work stream, then select the References tab. Use the switch below the tabs to move between Requirements and Attachments.
The Requirements view only appears when the work stream came from a feature concept. Otherwise the tab opens on Attachments.
Requirements
The Requirements view lists the requirements from the feature concept that were handed to this work stream at intake.
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Heading | Requirements and how many there are. |
| Feature link | The feature concept the requirements came from. Select it to open the feature in planning. |
| Each requirement | Its code, title and a short description. |
If the work stream is linked to a feature concept but did not come through the Intake Queue, this view shows the feature concept’s requirements instead, read-only.
What you might see instead
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| No requirements were assigned to this work stream at intake. | The work stream came from a feature concept, but none of its requirements were placed in this stream. |
| Subtrack of … | This is a sub-work stream. Its requirements and feature context are managed on the parent work stream. Select the parent’s name to go there. |
| This work stream was created directly and has no linked feature concept. | The work stream wasn’t handed over from planning. |
Attachments
The Attachments view gathers every document and link the work stream references, in two groups.
| Group | What it holds |
|---|---|
| From the source feature | What was attached to the feature concept in planning. Select Open the feature to see it in context. |
| Added in delivery | Documents and links added since the work stream was promoted into delivery. Shown only when there are any. |
Each item shows its name, who added it and when.
